Each bungalow is hidden in its own separate enclave within the rainforest, offering complete seclusion, both from each other and the outside world.  They are completely out of sight, overlooking beautiful fern gullies and a private bushland lake, with the sound of the babbling Hermitage Creek in the background.  

There are no neighbours - only the wildlife, including riotous parrots and cockatoos, kookaburras, wombats, wallabies, echidnas and platypus (if you look and listen very carefully).   You can enjoy a unique part of Australia, a temperate rainforest  with native flora and fauna featuring magnificent wildlife.  

All of these wonders can be enjoyed from the large elevated deck of each bungalow.   Or through the floor to ceiling windows that frame the wonderful backdrop.   Woodlands offers a rare opportunity for guests to enjoy this magnificent environment without compromising on comfort, luxury or  the integrity of the natural environment.

The four superbly designed bungalows are split-level open plan with huge windows that open on to a wallpaper of living forest.   Crafted from local materials, polished mountain ash floorboards, myrtle beech benches and radially sawn yellow stringybark exterior cladding, the bungalows blend into the surrounding bush so perfectly that they seem part of the rainforest furniture.  

They each have large brick open fireplaces, central heating & cooling, fully equipped kitchens, king beds, full surround sound systems with DVD, video and CD players for your enjoyment.

Music is even piped into the spectacular glass walled spa room.  The huge oval therapeutic quality spa with high pressure air blower and heated water jets that provide a true aquatic massage, invites total relaxation.   The spa is sunken into a heated tiled floor and sits before a bi-fold glass wall that opens onto the large deck overlooking the fern gully.  This truly is luxury in the wild....
